I have a few external "black" boxes here each hosting 6 hard disks. Each
is fully self-contained, and is seen by the computer as one big SCSI hard
disk. The capacity (as seen by the computer and hence Linux kernel) is
between 50 to 120GB.
I have used them under both RH 6.0 and 6.1 with both default kernels and
downloaded tar kernels. I have never ever had any problem with them with
regard to Linux not seeing the whole of the hard disks.
Hope it helps,
Hossein
