howdy,
i am trying to close the last few holes in my
firewall. here is my report after i run a port scan
against it-
Port State Protocol Service Owner
22 open tcp ssh
25 open tcp smtp
111 open tcp sunrpc
6000 open tcp X11
now, i want ssh to be running and smtp. i commented
out sunrpc(whatever that is) in /etc/services but it
keeps popping up. i commented out the tcp and udp
entries for it but with no joy. also, X11. how do i
shut that off to the outside while still running it on
my box?
