Is there really no solution for this? Sorry for asking again, but I couldn't
get any answer to this. Please if this is impossible to do , tell me and I
will quit searching and keep on typing "kill -9 .. ".

Here is my problem..

I run an interbase database server on Redhat6.1 and Windows clients connect
to it.Sometimes I see that some connections are lost becaause of crashing
clients,or bad network conditions. After this, I see that the attachment
process isn't killed automatically.
I need to get rid of that processes because they get a lot of cpu time. What
do I need to do in order to kill a process automatically having a time like
this?
