I have an Athlon on an MSI-6167 board, I740 Video Excel AGP card, stock
standard IDE hard drives and two CD (one ROM, other RW/RECORD). I have
had absolutely no problems, in fact I simply clicked in my hard drive
and Linux booted without a glitch...Windows on the other hand required
four reinstalls before it worked out what it was doing.
I see no problems at all with my setup...hope this helps.
