Hi Guys
I have here one Asus K7 with Athalon , real nice
BUT I also have all these USB ports ( four of them) which could solve my
current problem
This being that I want to conect a digital camera to the system.
Seems ridiculous that I have a mouse on comm 1 and modem on com 2 and I
cannot therefor use com 3 or 4 due to IRQ
conflicts. I cannnot use USB as I cannot find Linux support
I know I could change to a PS2 mouse, but I like my logitech cordless. I know
I could get an external modem
but I dont want to shell out more money
So I have had to do the unimagineable, install win 98 to use the USB ports
I have been MS free for five years, so I am still reeling from the shock (
and struggle, who said winxx was easy to install)

Anyone any comments. like how to use my other ports without conflicts?
I have tried comm4 and figured I wouldnt be using the modem while downloading
inages, but it didnt work
