Yep.  It works.  Just don't install PHP3.  Install PHP4.  You're more
on your own w/PHP4, since I don't have, nor do I know of good RPMs for
it yet..

I've got the following config running on one server:

Apache 1.3.9 (w/EAPI/MM patches)
openssl 0.9.4
mod_ssl 2.4.10
MySQL 3.22.27
openldap 1.2.7
PHP 4.0 Beta 3
mod_perl 1.21
Jrun 2.3.3 (using JDK 1.2.2-pre3)

All working fine, minimal hassle...
