You need a NIC and a catagory 5 patch cable for each computer and 1
hub/switch that has enough ports to handle all the patch cables. If
you buy ovislink then you can put together 3 10BaseT NICs, 3 patch 3'
cables, and a 8 port hub for roughly $70.00 (not including shipping,
handling, and taxes). If you want a 100BaseT switching network the you
can get the 3Com 100BaseT NICs, 3 3' patch cables, and a 100 Mbps, 8 port
switching hub for just under $500.00 (not including shipping, handling,
and taxes).
