I have been off this list for several months. If this is a question that is
repeatedly asked, please forgive me.
I have tried searching the archives according to the directions but I always
get something that makes no sense. The only archive command that I can get
to work is archive help.
Has anyone gotten mysql to work with php3 on red hat 6.1? I have tried
several different installs. I have tried with rpms and source. I can get
php3 working and mysql to work from linux prompt but I cannot get mysql
functions to be recognized within php3. I am on a php list and this question
is frequently asked. I have followed their instructions but always end up
with the same problem. Someone on the list said he gave up with red hat and
is using Debian and has had no problems.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
