hda: status timeout: status=0xd0 { Busy }
hda: no DRQ after issuing WRITE
I had this message on 3 of my boxes.
I fixed it on 2 of th 3 by disabling UDMA
in bios. However the last box still gives
the error message when it runs slocate,
name server, and cpio on /home. I turned off
Named since I am using hosts for name resolution
at this time so I only get the error once a day. Anybody
got any ideas? Is there a way to check the
/home partition for disk problems. (I did
trash this disk with partition magic and
had to low level format it with Dos before
I could install RH 6.0
