I set up my internet connection using my favourite connection tool
eznet. But the modem won't dial out. After setting dev/modem to
/dev/ttys0 I narrowed down the error to something like "pppd error
either no kernel support for ppp or module not loaded" I cannot believe
the out of the box kernel does not have ppp support unless I am using
the wrong kernel image to boot from (using loadlin-I copied from /boot a
file called vmlinuz and there were other alternatives). How do load the
missing module and what is it called or should I try booting via loadlin
from one of the alternatives in /boot such as vmlinz-2.2.5BOOT? I
had a
poke around linuxconf but selecting one or two ppp things didn't
seem to
