I just tried the new PPP Config thingie in RH6.1. It's much slicker than using Linuxconf, but it doesn't have a place to enter the default domain name, nor does it support expect/send scripting like you can do with Linuxconf. More importantly, I noted that my /etc/resolv.conf file was not updated after I entered the DNS info on the Advanced screen. Shouldn't this result in a "nameserver" entry being written to the resolv.conf file? Without that, one can only access internet sites by IP number, right?
