I have a production level server with around 2000 clients, most of them
are dialup accounts. However, I have this problem that when they check
their mail using pop3, and get dropped during checking it, when they log
back in, they usually get cannot get lock on mail file. This is using
WU's pop server that comes default with redhat6 and redhat 6.1, is there a
better solution that will kill off these dead connections faster (some are
taking 5-10 minutes, some have to be killed). Is there a better server to
use?
