How close or the ping times should not matter..........you have a secondary
set that is out of your network.....right ? or you have a third or fourth
DNS server set ?

What application exactly do they get this error on ? are they from the same
ISP ? you need to see if its a pattern thats being established here (like
some dumb app giving the wrong error message)

I am willing to monitor the exact sites and services for 24 hours or so if
you like........
