You need to patch your firewall. works great.

Check out the VPN masquerade page -
ftp://ftp.rubyriver.com/pub/jhardin/masquerade/ip_masq_vpn.html

this allows you to use a pptp based vpn from a masqueraded client machine
thru the firewall.

I have yet to figure out how to get a linux vpn client to work though :(
