gary. Can a win98 user just use the simple dialup networking wizard to
connect to your isp? If so, then they are using PAP, and please take my
advise about settign it up using linuxconf/netconfig. It takes about one
minute, and will work out of the box. In addition, it should be documented
in the RH docs (sorry, never read them so I can't point you to a page)
