I'm looking to run a DB server on my current Linux installation. I'm not
planning to use it as a major server or anything I just want to get a better
feel for what it is like to administer a DB in a UNIX/Linux environment and
experiment with the different dataware housing techniques I've been looking
into. I'll be the only user and because I'm just 'playing around there won't be
large quantities of data. So far I've looked at MySQL, ProgreSQL, Sybase,
Oracle. As you can tell by looking at my system, high performance is
mechanically impossible but for my purposes it's not a major issue.

Anyone have any suggestions on what to go with? I want something that meets the
current SQL standards (SQL92?) as much as possible.

System stats:
Pentium 166 (intel)
32Mb EDO ram
128MB swap file
/home: 100Mb
/ : 1823Mb (approx)
Nbr users: 1
Network: Cable modem/ethernet card (ISP).

Thanks in advance!
