If using linuxconf:

Host set up should have "Manual" selected for static IP and the IP assigned 
to you by @home as the IP address.
Net mask should be 255.255.255.0.

Nameserver setup should have "Required" selected and the @home name servers 
listed under name server 1, nameserver 2, etc. Search Domain should be 
something like "msnv1.occa.home.com" (Orange County CA).  Name servers in 
this area are: 24.1.160.33 and 24.1.160.34.

Default Gateway should be your isp's gateway address. Mine is 24.0.192.175. 
The "DNS Required" box should be selected.
