Morning Everyone:
For the past month or so, I've been working on getting Apache SSL
installed on my system. Here's what I'm attempting to do.
Around the time Red Hat 5.2 was out, someone showed me Apache SSL and how
it set up very nicely in conjunction with Apache on my system. Everything
for Apache went in /etc/httpd and /home/httpd, and everything for Apache
SSL went in /etc/httpsd and /home/httpsd respectively. Even each script
to call the Daemon was appropriately named.
Now, almost every src or rpm of Apache SSL I've downloaded wants to update
the current /etc/httpd directory. Does there still exist the capability
to have these as two separate entities? I understand all of the arguemnts
about having two daemons running, etc. Has anyone set up this type of
arrangement, and if so, would you be willing to work with me off the list
to help get it set up?
Thanks.
- Mike
