Has anyone been able to use the es1371.o module in rhl 6.1 (kernel 2.2.12)
I'm trying to get my Creative Labs PCI 128 to work properly. Currently,
sndconfig will detect the card and load the es1371.o module, however, when
it attempts to play the sound sample, it hangs. Has this happened to
anyone else?
I've searched some of the kernel mailing lists, and discovered that the
es1371.o module is somewhat broke, has anyone else experienced this?
The output when the module loads viewable via dmesg is:
es1371: unloading

And then during the attempt to play sound:
