Hi,
This may or may not be any help. However I have Mgetty running on my
machine. I tried for days to call my other Linux machine at work. They could
hear it trying to hand shake but it would not connect. Since it worked
before
I moved the second machine to work it drove me crazy. Finally I tried
turning
mgetty off and I came back and hour later and called it worked fine. I do
not
know why this caused a problem and since I almost never call home from
work unless I am doing something unusual so I am just leaving it off for
now.
Linda
