I have search trough several archives
and to my knowledge no one has sucessfully manage to install this perl
module on a RH6.0 box.

It is not a dynamic linking problem because modules like POSIX and BD_File
load fine.
I have previously installed:
gd-1.7-3 + gd-development-1.7-3
freetype 1.2
linpng-1.05
zlib-1.1.3
PS has anyone tried the IMage Compliler 4.0. I would like to try it but
am obviously hampered by the fact the GD.pm will not install.
