Hi !
Knowing that i do easy here without helping much, but try to give back
the Maxtor drive and get a "real" HD. I had intense contact both with
Maxtor products and the company....and the conclusion is Maxtor is a shitty
company with shitty products, must be some reason why their drives are so
cheap. If configure or setup bugs can be exclosed (which i believe
considering that the system ran smoothly for a while) I'd give starting
from the scratch a try (which is very unsatisfying), besides that hear my
words above, i had trouble with many harddrives, but only Maxtor ended up
to be totally devastating.
