large hard disk

I shifted from 2.5 GB to 17 GB hard drive. I left 4 GB of unpartitioned
space for linux 6.0. When I start installation its shows 4 GB of free
space but when I try to create a Linux Native partition it says not
enough diskspace and if I try to create a Linux Swap partition, it has
no problem in doing that. So does anyone got any idea about my problem ?
