This won't completely correct the problem. This will just make your
printer ports visible. Download the patch lpr file lpr-0.46-1 from
Security Notes from the Redhat site. This should get your printer
up and running. It did it to mine. But I find that you might
have to reinstall the printer filter with printtool. My printer
seems to only work that way.
