I have a static IP with my ISP as mysubdomain.monk.org. I would like to
be able to use this as my mail domain, but my connection is dial-up, not
fulltime, so when I am not online, everything bounces. I believe there
is a way for my ISP to act as a go between, so that my mail goes on hold
if I am not online, rather than it bouncing. What is this called, and/or
what do I need to request my ISP to arrange, AND would I then need to
change something in my config as well for it to work properly?

Thanks in advance,
jdk
