I am trying to setup xdm. I want to have xscreensaver run while waiting for a login, so i put the line /usr/local/bin/xscreensaver -timeout 5 in the Xsetup_0 file in /etc/X11/xdm (RedHat 4.2 setup). I modified the inittab file so the computer boots up into X and i am able to login just fine, but xscreensaver never runs. any ideas? _______________________________________________________________ James G.
