Hi,
this problem has been asked before in this mailing list,
i don't remember when, but one answer had a pointing to
this URL:
http://www.waldherr.org/soffice/
(Stefan Waldherr Homepage)
that's just related to howto install staroffice on RH 4.2 / 5
systems, as you can guess... it worked just fine for me.
ciao fede
p.s. don't forget to change the permissions on the new libc5
you install wherever you want.. each user must have the permissions
to do a setup! (i.e. follow any hint in this page)
p.p.s. if you don't find the URL above (but I think not so :-)
I've a copy of all is needed.
p.p.p.s. thanx a lot Stefan!
