Didn't we just go over this? :) It is because under Unix it is not
possible for code to arbitrarily modify other system binaries, because of
permissions. Also, binaries are not compatible across Unix systems, so
your Linux virus won't run on Solaris, HPUX, Digital Unix, FreeBSD, and
what have you. Finally, Unix users don't pass binaries around very much.
Windows users are always passing binaries around. All this contributes to
the lack of Unix viruses.
