There is one, somewhere, but it's pretty much ignored. Unix, in general, is
pretty much invulnerable to virus's. The main "gotcha" is a Trojan Horse, a
program which appears to be one thing and actually opens your system, making
it vulnerable to attack. As a simplistic example, if you could get a program
into place that mimiced a normal login line on the screen and saved the user
name and password entered to a file, then logged the user in, you could
collect account information. You could also create a phony "ls" command that
would delete a lot of files.
The easy way to avoid all of these is to just not run as root on a normal
basis. No root privilege tends to cripple trojan horses.
