There has been some traffic on our local user group mail list that CA will
be releasing a Linux version of Ingress - I'm not sure of the timing
(sometime this summer?), the usage restrictions (limited number of
simultaneous users, non-commercial use, etc...), or support and
availability of a "full" version, but it sounds rather promising.

In the meanwhile, I'd second the recommendation for Postgresql or
