You can install some of the Red Hat 8 agents, if available, with this trick.
Modify the file /etc/redhat-release:
Red Hat Linux release 9 (Shrike)
... replace this line with :
Red Hat Linux release 8.0 (Psyche)
Now when installing the agents it thinks it is on a Red Hat 8 system.
It's a dirty trick but it works for most of the agents. Don not forget to
restore the original  /etc/redhat-release file after installing the agents
