More info needed.

First we need to know what version of Red Hat you are running.  THis is
needed so we can know if there is a redhat rpm of the apache version you
need.

Secondly, please tell me that someone else is keeping this box updated
with all the security errata that have issued since whatever version of
the os is being used was released.

man pages are a significant source of documentation on linux.  Unlike
windows, there often is too much information : )

man rpm 

There are significant manuals on the redhat.com/support site that will
walk you through a lot of stuff.


PLEEEEEASE upgrade the box will all the errata.
