Well, he certainly sold me. I tried shorewall and it's great. First as a personal firewall, it's so easy. And then recently I needed to do NAT and masq for a beowulf cluster (running RH 9 as the base), and I'm happily surprised again at how easy to set it up using shorewall, although I don't know much at all about editing IP Tables script by hand.
