Still I would recommend waiting to get a staging platform with
comparable HW before doing an upgrade on a production box.  I guess the
other option would be to run a full backup of the box right before you
take it offline to perform the upgrade to Linux.  That way, if the box
hoses during the upgrade, you'll have the ability to restore on Monday
morning at 3:00 AM...  ;-)

I have faith that the install of Linux will recognize your HW and allow
you to configure it as needed.  It sounds like you're using HW that's
been around long enough to be supported by the RH install. 
Unfortunately, I don't have significant experience with the same HW
setup that you have.  So I can't tell you that it will DEFINITELY run
without a hitch.  Maybe somebody else has that specific experience...
