I took a look at /etc/resolv.conf and there were a few entries in it,
but how do I know if they are valid?

; generated by /sbin/dhclient-script
search hawaii.rr.com
nameserver 24.25.227.32
nameserver 24.25.227.34
nameserver 24.25.227.36

Also, named wasn't running so I'm assuming I should do the following to
get it started:

chkconfig named on
service named start

I don't want to screw anything up, so I want to make sure that the above
is correct before doing it.

Also, is the delay in starting postfix related to DNS name resolution?

Thanks,
