Oracle 9i Install Issues

Linuxers:

Anyone on this list successfully downloaded and installed Oracle 9i from the Oracle website?

I opted to install from my hard drive and have created my mount points, u01 and u02, respectively.
I'm getting the following message when I try to run
the Universal Installer from /mnt/cdrom/:

In my cdrom directory I type:  runInstaller and get:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] root]# /mnt/cdrom/runInstaller: line 58: ./runInstaller: cannot execute binary file

At this point, I tried creating an install CD to see if I would get the same message which I did.

Line 58 in /mnt/cdrom/runInstaller is:
./runInstaller $* &

Is there anything wrong with that?
