I have a RH8 machine that I was using for ftp with WU-FTP. I had a system crash last week where one of the disks was fsck'ed. Now for some reason wu-ftp is not running. If I restart xinetd it says it's starts two services in the messages log, but I don't know which ones. Port 21 is not open right now/
Any suggestions on troubleshooting this? Similarly, I can't get an X-session to start either. Using cygwin if I try to start an X session the new window pops up, but I never get a login.
