Do you have a firewall running? If so that could be blocking the auth request
Nice try, but no. Same network segment, no firewall in between, same Ethernet switch even. Everything works, including using Samba to see/share/read/write files on that same Linux server. The only thing my "rpaiz" user cannot do is print.
