It changes from year to year and model to model. Not two years ago, a
friend at IBM warned me away from their then-current batch of drives; really
bad sticktion problems that they didn't want to own up to.
You've just gotta keep your ear to the ground. Anecdotal information is the
best we can do to avoid dog runs...
