Hi!
I need some help. I have installed jedit with the newest stable java
installer from their website. However, when I try to run jedit I get
this message: Warning: JAVA_HOME environment variable not set.
Error: could not find libjava.so
Error: could not find Java 2 Runtime Environment.

Everything else so far that needs java runs fine. I even went to sun's
website download the SDK which they said had the JRE in it and tried it.
I have even tried entering /path to java JRE/java jedit. Here is the msg
I get:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: jedit

Anyone experienced this, and if so what did you do for it? Oh in case
you need to know I'm running RH9. Thanks.
David
