        Think again.

By the end of the year, Hitachi will be running an IPv6 only ISP
in China and there are IPv6-only production networks in Asia and IPv6
available world wide. Hackers/Crackers/Attackers are already setting
up IPv6 web sites and IPv6 ftp sites and IPv6 IRC sites. Every IPv4
address has an entire IPv6 network (65536 subnets of 4 billion ** 2
addresses) assigned to it and IPv6 has been supported in RedHat since
7.x days. There have even been breakins and backdoors enhanced by
IPv6 tunnels and stealth techniques.

The Asia RIR, APNIC, has already received a second allocation
of TLAs (Top Level Agregator or prefixes) for suballocation to top
legvel ISPs.

YOU may not be using IPv6 but there are areas where it is already
being used "wholesale". In the US we are already way behind the curve
on this and playing catchup. Just like how we got stuck on digital cell
phones with our analog infrastructure...
