I used Oracle Applications 11.0.3 just fine on Linux. There was only one bug I found - a certain operation (been to long to remember which it was) sometimes took several mouse clicks instead of one. When the administrator installs it, there are 2 URLs to go to. One is for the JInitiator plugin, the other does regular Java.
