Hum, there's not a single Evolution package at newrpms (okay, there's a ximian-artwork package, but who cares). I think you misunderstood me : I'm not looking for Evolution 1.2.2 shipped with Red Hat 9, but for the new 1.4 (GTK2): you can install it via the Ximian Installer, but as I would like to avoid using Ximian packages, I was just asking for feedback about good (or bad) experiences with other packages on the web built for RH9 :) Thank you, ~sjo > > > --- Stéphane Jourdan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > escribió: > On Tue, 2003-06-24 at 10:26, Manuel > Aróstegui > > Ramirez wrote: > > > apt-cache search ximian | less > > > > > > Now you get the exactly name ;-) > > > > I think we misunderstood : I'm a debian user too, so > > I know how apt > > works too :) > > > > An apt command alone, be it "apt-cache show > > somthing" or "apt-get > > install this" doesn't mean anything as long as you > > don't have > > repositories in your sources.list > > > > What repositories do you use ?
