As a Linux newbee a decided to take the major step to update my kernel. I have tryed to compile and boot a new kernel 2.4.21. I copied the config file from 2.4.14 that came with my RedHat 8.0 and compiled the kernel and modules (also make modules_install). I configured Grub and booted with the following error message:
