        No.  If you remember being asked a million questions about your
        monitor and video card during the install you have PROBABLY set up
        X.

        To run the X server just type   startx
        or if you prefer                /usr/X11R6/bin/startx

        In any event, take a look at this file and see it has a time stamp
        approximate to the time which you installed RH 5


        Ditto for /etc/X11/X    and see what this file is linked to
