We also use the D-Link DKVM-8E, which is a very nice box (both linux and Win servers on it).
However, we bought a KMV extender (brand name Ten or Aten?, I can't read their logo), which has not been satisfactory.  Anyone have recommendations for extenders (used in conjunction with KVM switches)?

I use the StarView (SV431) 4 port Keyboard/Mouse/Monitor Sharing Switch.  It
supports both PS/2 and Serial mice.  I have a Redhat 7.0 and a Win 2000 box
on it now with no issues.  In fact, the Win2000 box is a PS/2 and the RedHat
7.0 is a serial mouse and it switches properly.
There was a cheaper version if you only used Windows, but I bought the more
expensive one (and glad I did).

Using a Zonet KVM 4 port switch to share
monitor/keyboard/mouse with RH box and OpenBSD box
http://www.gooddealpc.com/index168.html?Products/Network/Description/Kvm
/KVM3004.html~middle
When I switch to OpenBSD box and then back to RH 8.0
box, the mouse/keyboard will not responde.
Is anyone else using this KVM?  Are they having the
same problem as me or any other problems?
Also, what KVM are people using and not having any
problems with?
thanks
