I had a similar problem with RH9 on a Dell Latitude C640 with a DVD drive. I've been meaning to bugzilla it, but I got the install done using NFS instead, so filing seems a bit less urgent now... It may be that the laptop doesn't know how to boot from CD-ROM without floppy emulation in the boot record. A Knoppix CD boots fine, and that's one difference between Shrike disk 1 and Knoppix. Sometime, I need to experiment some more, unless someone beats me to it. -- Matthew Saltzman Clemson University Math Sciences [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.math.clemson.edu/~mjs -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
