Hi,
according to the Security Alert on redhat.com, i want to install the latest samba-update for RH9. Main samba package worked, but
when I try to
rpm -Fvh samba-common-2.2.7a-8.9.0.i386.rpm
I´m running into an error "V3 DSA signature : BAD, key ID db42a60e"
samba-common-2.2.7a-8.9.0.i386.rpm cannot be installed.
I ftp´ed the Package several times from different locations, but there is always the same result.
Am I doing something wrong or is the package broken in some way ?
HHmm. Interesting - I had the same thing and thought I was going bananas.
In the end I did an up2date with the updates in the /var/spool/up2date directory and it worked without complaining.
Strange - not a fix but a work-around maybe?
Regards, Ed.
