Well, there certainly is something called ka9q; according to what I've
been able to catch from the .msg files on some ftp sites, it is geared
toward tcp/ip over ham radio.  Neat.  There are even parts of it that
have been GPL'ed.

Just d/l'ed a bunch of zips.  Thanks for the tip and I'll be back soon
to share my results.
