Hello;
I've been using RH 5.0 for awhile now, and have downloaded many things,
installed many things, and even crashed a couple.
I have two problems left that I can't seem to resolve.
1. Java ICQ. I cannot get this to work. I've tried JDK 1.1.3, 1.1.4, and
even 1.1.5. No go. I've used the statically compiled ones, because I for
some reason cannot 'make ' them. I always get a blob of errors.
2. JoyStick support. Does it exist? I play a lot of Quake 2 online under
Linux, and I cannot use my Keyb. How do I configure my system to recognize
my joystick?
Here are my system stats:
Intel Pentium 200 w/ mmx
48 megs of ram
4.0 gig hd on which WIN95 resides
1.7 gig hd on which Linux, and a 30 meg swap file reside.
STB Nitro 3D video
Sound Blaster AWE 32 sound card (my JoyStick port is on this card)
Logitech Serial mouse.
My joystick is the MS Sidewinder Force FeedBack Pro
I hope somebody can help me with my problems :)
